Happy Anniversary British Queen

As you may know, the Queen is ruling monarch for 70 years! This is the longest period in the whole British history. This date is remarkable, so now we may see Platinum Jubilee Queen Elisabeth II Barbie Doll.

The designer of this Barbie doll is Robert Best. In fact, the gown you see on this doll has not been worn by real Elisabeth. Robert has analyzed all her gowns and preferred material and color. The Queen has her own style: she prefers a rather simple design and ivory or white color, so that all her accessories will not burden the entire outfit.

So the Barbie doll wears long ivory gown with flower print and it looks elegant. The gown is decorated with blue riband having royal orders. The color of the ribbons have their own meanings. Father George VI gave the pink ribbon, and the grandfather George V gave a pale blue ribbon.

Every detail means a lot and has its own history. Robert worked with Monica LaValle to recreate the orders and jewelry. They did a good job as these miniatures look similar to the real ones.

Tiara is also realistic as it is based on Queen Mary's Fringe Tiara. Robert has seen a real Tiara in the Tower of London Museum, and that is why this miniature looks so realistic.

The box for Queen Elisabeth II Barbie doll is also special. The designer, Sal Velazquez, tried to show the Queen on her throne with majesty and importance. The box may be used for a display of the doll.

The doll is articulated, and will come with gloves and shoes. This is a limited edition, and only 3 dolls were available per one person. The cost of the doll is $75.
