Inspirans by Amicus Dolls — New Release in the Studio Printed Line

Independent brand Amicus Dolls has announced a new original doll, Inspirans, joining the adult Studio Printed Line. Preorders are scheduled to open on April 25 at 6 PM (BST) via the official website, with only 10 slots available.

Inspirans is a 1/4 scale BJD (37.5 cm), created with a strong focus on modern production technology. Each doll is printed in the artist’s studio using high-end equipment and a custom resin blend based on TH-BJD and Anti-Impact materials by Resione. This material offers durability, flexibility, and a surface quality comparable to traditional polyurethane.

The release introduces a new face sculpt, Milagros, available exclusively with Inspirans. The construction features a magnetic faceplate system, non-magnetic locking mechanisms for the hands, and hook-based feet assembly. The doll is strung with durable 3 mm elastic, and eyes (8 / 2.2 mm) are crafted by professional artist BJD Holic, with customizable color selection.

Two body types are available:

• Classic — full articulation
• Light — simplified joints (neck and shoulders)

Two natural skintones are offered: Aurora and Light Fudge (light tan), both designed with soft, balanced undertones.

The basic set includes a fully assembled blank doll, one Milagros faceplate, one pair of eyes, basic hands, a certificate of authenticity, and a lightweight bag. Additional hand options are available separately.

Pricing starts at $1199 for the Light body and $1299 for Classic (tan option +$50). Flexible payment options are available, including installment plans up to 4 months.

Production time is estimated at 3–6 months, with shipping calculated separately.
