Doll Archive — a digital archive for doll collectors
Doll Archive — a digital archive for doll collectors
If you've been collecting dolls for more than a year, you already know the feeling: Excel spreadsheets, scattered notes, searching through photos… Doll Archive is an attempt to solve this properly.
Doll Archive is a private digital archive of your collection with AI identification. It's primarily for those who:
- collect seriously and want structured data, not a pile of folders
- buy and sell between collectors and want a convenient tool for that
- want to know exactly how much they've invested and what it's worth now
How it works
Each doll follows its own journey through Spaces: Wish List → Waiting Room → Collection → For Sale → Archive. This gives a clear picture of where everything stands right now.
When you add a new doll, you upload a photo and enter the brand and name. The AI then analyzes the photo and data, searches the web, and returns a filled-in card: official name, SKU, line, release year, head sculpt, body type, eye color, hair color, material, original price. If the doll is already in the shared reference database, the AI pulls the data instantly. If not — it creates a new entry that other collectors can use later. Then you review, correct if needed — and save.
On top of the official data, there's your personal card: the doll's home name, condition, purchase price, shipping, taxes, estimated value, notes. Only you can see this.
What you get
Structured data about your collection: a complete database with photos, specifications, and financial stats.
A shared reference database that grows with every new entry. Which means the rare doll you add first — no one else will have to look up manually.
A tool for selling between collectors — no middlemen, no marketplace fees, direct contact between buyer and seller.
For those waiting on made-to-order or pre-orders — there's a Waiting Room with fields for payment amount and expected arrival date.
And most importantly — a sense of order. You know exactly what you have, what you're waiting for, what you're selling, and what it all costs.
Where things stand
The app is almost ready for its first launch. Core functionality is in place: AI identification works, all spaces and cards are built, in-app chat between users is live.
Final preparations for registration are underway. The database is already being filled with the first references — Integrity Toys, Tonner, Fairyland, Amicus Dolls, and others.
This isn't just another list. It's an archive built and filled together with the community — but protected by each person's privacy.
